Important announcement - COVID response Oct 29, 2020

Today, Thursday Oct 29, 2020, we were notified that a staff member at duncan chiropractic group Brighton location has tested positive for COVID-19. This staff member was immediately isolated upon being contact traced through a positive family member. They have minimal symptoms and are doing well.

This staff member was in the office from Monday Oct 19 through Saturday Oct 24. If you were in our Brighton office during this time the risk of transmission is very minimal due to the precautions we have been taking. The Livingston County Health Department defines close contact as "less than 6 feet apart for more than 15 minutes with or without a mask." Any individual who qualifies for close contact were already contacted in accordance with our COVID response guidelines.

Out of an abundance of caution, all staff members who were in the office and who may have been in proximity to the positive staff member have received negative tests before returning to the office. The office continues to be deep cleaned and disinfected regularly.

We are committed to being transparent about how we address these situations and keeping you well informed. Due to HIPAA regulations, we are not allowed to disclose the name of any affected staff member(s).
