The COVID-19 crisis has challenged us in many ways. We have been pushed to created new ways and updated processes to match the growing threat of this airborne virus. We have continued to act with diligence and agility to adapt our operations at DCG. Here are some of our updated operational changes:
-Masks are now required to be worn by all patients in our facilities (unless a medical condition does not allow)
-Patients placed into rooms immediately upon check-in when possible
-Plexiglass barriers at our reception and check-out desks
-Proper PPE worn by our staff at all times including masks (required in our facilities) and shields
-Expanded disinfecting and sanitizing program including wiping of all surfaces with hospital grade disinfectant (with the proper wait time to allow for maximum effectiveness)
-Removal of all common contact points within the office
-Drastic slowing of the pace of appointments
-Aggressive social distancing
-Reduced staff members in the office
-Temperature checks every morning for our staff
-Strict screening of patients and staff for illness
-Creating a hand-washing/sanitizing station
-Requiring all patients and staff members to frequently wash their hands after contacting any surfaces/objects
-Increased prone (face down) treatments when appropriate
in addition to other changes.
All of our chiropractors will continue to see patients with injuries and significant pain with our normal treatment schedule at both our Brighton and Howell offices. WE ARE OPEN NORMAL HOURS AT BOTH LOCATIONS!
